Program Manager for B’More For Healthy Babies 

This role will support the implementation of the B’More for Healthy Babies (BHB) strategy and projects related to BHB, such as Baby Basics, HOPE home visiting, and doula programming. The Program Manager will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters professionally and discretely.

Project Manager of Data And Evaluation- Special Projects

This role is responsible for ensuring that data collected by various programs and teams are complete, accurate, and effectively utilized. This role cleans, analyzes, and presents data to demonstrate to various stakeholders that programs are delivering services as intended and are improving outcomes for children and their families.

    The Review Panel Member serves as part of an independent review panel convened by Family League of Baltimore to rate and score proposals submitted in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP).  This panel represents experience and knowledge in the fields of human service provision and programmatic oversight of the types of services and resources being developed.

    Community Schools Steering Committee Member

    The Community Schools Steering Committee (CSSC) is seeking applications from potential members. As a CSSC member, you can make a difference in the lives of the children and communities you care about in Baltimore City. The vision of the CSSC is to empower Baltimore through a sustainable city-wide network of community schools that support the needs of the whole child and their family, and demonstrate measurable positive outcomes for the community. The CSSC is currently looking to fill the following representative seats:

    • Students (at least one student on the CSSC must currently be enrolled in a Community School)

    Housing Case Manager – Family Recovery Program 

    The FRP Housing Case Manager shall provide case management services to participants of the Family Recovery Program by monitoring participant’s progress throughout their program-term, provide supportive services to support the overall wellness of the family system, and document all efforts made by the participants to all interested parties in the child’s foster care case.

    Preferably, a candidate for the FRP Housing Case Manager position should have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in any social, public health, or drug- or alcohol-related field, or an Associate of Arts degree with 5 years of experience providing direct client services in public health, community service, or related work;
    • Familiarity with Baltimore’s child welfare system and social sector organizations that serve vulnerable children, youth, and their families
    Community Health Worker Healthy Families America Team – Sinai Hospital 

    Sinai Hospital is seeking a Community Health Worker for their Healthy Families America team. The position provides direct services by means of education, advocacy and services coordination to individuals in order to extend psychosocial support services. This position works with pregnant women and their children. There are currently two Community Health Worker positions available.

    Community Health Advocate – HealthCare Access Maryland

    HealthCare Access Maryland (HCAM) is making Maryland healthier by connecting residents to insurance and care, educating the community about healthier living, and advocating a more equitable health care system. HCAM is currently looking to fill five Community Health Advocate positions. Community Health Advocates will work collaboratively in Judy Centers to ensure that pregnant women are re-connected and referred to HCAM for prenatal services.

    Community School Coordinator – Child First Authority at City Springs Elementary

    A Community School is created through a set of intentional partnerships among the school and other community resources that promote student achievement, positive conditions for learning, and the well-being of families and communities so that schools become the hubs of the community. In partnership with the school principal and broader school community, the community school coordinator will assess the needs of the designated community school and will form strategic school-community partnerships based on the identified needs to help eliminate barriers to academic success for students and families. 

    Assistant Director of Community Schools (LCWS-C) – The Social Work Community Outreach Service (SWCOS) at the University of Maryland, School of Social Work

    The position will oversee the community school strategy for the Positive Schools Center, a program within SWCOS, ensuring robust school-based programs lead to impactful results for communities.  The position will also provide staff supervision and coaching to multiple Community School Coordinators (Social Workers) working as part of the strategy.

    This full-time position offers a generous benefits package that includes 22 vacation days, 14 floating and holidays, 15 sick days; comprehensive health insurance and retirement options; and tuition remission for employees and their dependents at any of the University System of Maryland schools.  The Hiring Range for this position is in the $70,000s, commensurate with education and experience.

    Director of Social Emotional Wellness – Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore

    The director will manage the organization’s efforts related to social & emotional wellness for youth and staff. The position is responsible for leading efforts for the organization to be trauma sensitive. The position also manages community relations and mental health resources and services for the families we serve.
